Group Course Workshops
Clients remember and use our ideas five years after the
course
Background
Our most popular courses are with 5-6 people over two
days, although there are many variations to this model, from
half-day modules up to a five-day workshop for 12 people.
Benefits for Participants
We assist participants to:
- Speak persuasively and with inspiration
- Ensure their presentations are succinct and to the
point
- Become more creative in preparing a message that
will be talked about later
- Produce ideas that persuade, differentiate and be
seen to have relevant benefit
- Save significant preparation time
- Become more confident and less nervous about
speaking engagements.
Method of Operating
Our courses are highly interactive with frequent practice
and role-play recorded on camera with playback. We keep the
pace lively and allow discussion when a relevant topic is
raised.
We keep all involved throughout, for example, someone who has
presented then has to run a critique on the next person
whilst we give private feedback. In helping with preparing a
message we assume the role of “Devils Advocate”, testing the
ideas and sometimes suggesting our own when asked.
All receive a follow up letter or email with personal
advice.
Logistics
These courses can be run at your offices, at our venues
in a West End London club, or offsite at a location
convenient to you. We believe that residential offsite
venues give the best return. We provide workbooks and
various handouts. We would discuss with you provision of
equipment although we normally bring along our own camera
and laptop.
Success Factors
These courses have been refined over a number of years
and are very well received, particularly by senior
management. Our courses go well for two contrasting reasons:
- A series of practical ideas – a tool box – which
enable the client to develop their skills and avoid
mediocre performance for the rest of their business
career
- Inspire them during the course to raise their game
well beyond what they thought was possible
